I'm not sure, and your right, easily fitted and removed tho.

Re: Lever Guards Reqyired

They should be fitted from the factory.
But this is a good move.

Everyone on here should know that, after we lost Baz due to him not fitting one.

Is it a new thing them banning metal toe sliders?

Its usually sparkly knee sliders. I don't think they will enforce toe sliders.

Re: Lever Guards Reqyired

it's more the Ti/magnesium knee sliders+toe sliders that spark, the ally toe sliders are fine.

Re: Lever Guards Reqyired

No harm being honest.

Easy to add on for the day.

My berik suit, both my berik and dainese boots have ti sliders.

Iv never been questioned at scrutiny tho.

I?ve just messaged my mate Sam who works for MSVT, he?s been told it?s only MSVT days at present as ironically No Limits and Focussed don?t want to enforce it.

The track managers want it to be a circuit rule, but it?s with Mr Palmer to make a final decision before the end of the year.

What happened to Baz?

FWIW, these fit Gen4's

Baz caught his brake lever on another rider (who was going slowly) as they drifted across the track taking the line that he was on (he was on the outside of them as they were approaching a right hander). It was a bad call to go round the outside at that point on the track, I'm sure he thought he had time, he rode at a very high level, but, the result was he was catapulted off and died on impact. A brake lever guard could have stopped the minor misjudgement from being fatal.
