Integrated rear light cluster

Has anyone fitted an integrated rear lights (built in indicators)? Not sure if the gen 3 has the same cluster as the gen 2.

Hi Vro, Yes I have an integrated rear cluster on my 2013 HP4. They are the same as the Gen 3 ones and really tidy up the back end of the bike. I got mine from eBay a few years ago and it is still perfect. From memory I think it was ?35 but the same seller was selling them for ?75 claiming them to be from Canada and CE stamped, like a fanny I bought the expensive one first and then saw the cheap one so bought that as a spare. They both arrived from Hong Kong in the same packaging, I kicked up stink and they refunded me the ?50 difference.

I think the box had Tuner X Factory on it, I'll try and find the transaction and let you know.

Straight swap over Snow, just unplug your old indicators and plug in the new, simples.

Only switch the indicators on to test when both are swapped though as you could get a fault on the dash if you have mixed OEM and non-OEM fitted. The CanBus can detect different resistances from lights on the bike but if RHS and LHS are the same regardless of the manufacturer no fault shows up.

oh the power of suggestion! just ordered the indicators, looking at the back light, looks like you need to use scotch block connectors? and will need new tail tidy without indicator mounts to replace my R&G! any recommendations as all the ones on evilbay seem to have provision for indicators?

Take the R&G off your bike and cut the indicator lugs off with a hacksaw, a little matt black paint and your sorted, or even better get the tail tidy painted the same as your bike.

I've found one on the bay now and a light ?23 and ?45 - so got something to do over the winter
