Gen 3 Exhaust Valve

Does the exhaust valve close at around 4k revs in neutral?

Yea mines does that too. Goes amazingly quiet

I have recently taken mine off my gen3 and was surprised how big the valves are ,they must really sap power ?
I started the bike up with no end can and it wasnt much louder !
