So...in the attempt that there might be more traffic on the forum if we are all house bound.... but whats everyone doing to past the time? We all know Stuarts blasting away as his Kwaka....

Apart from the wife crying everytime I leave the building....and washing everything that comes into the house (inc food shopping) its business as usual for me....

So what you lot got planned? Any diy projects? Bike modifications? Cleaning leathers? Become a guru on the 'Nurburgring' track on Ride3 on PS4......

This weekend I've just got to get the bike ready for its first MOT...which basically means fit the wheels with road tyres as opposed to slicks.

Wife has told me it?s important to go out on the motorbike so I will be doing that when appropriate. Just very nervous of having a fall and requiring medical assistance.

Several small DIY projects I am planning on completing. If this goes on as long as it might, I might put in planning for an extension and start digging out the footings lol. Or I might plant some trees to grow so I can build a log cabin.

I dont think I will see my rr anytime soon. Wondering if I need to start kicking off with bmw about paying for a bike I have not been able to ride since October.

Had a rhino greenhouse put up on Monday so planning on spending time teaching/involving the kids about how to grow stuff to eat.

DIY time for sure, some says wives created Covid to force us to do the jobs we've been avoiding!

I am painting the hall, and possibly the main bedroom

Floored the summer house yesterday and with the better weather will be out cycling with the kids. Got the RR mot last week so might be out a cruise one day, possibly frowned upon though[emoji848] also bringing the caravan out of storage to give it a good clean at the house.

If we go to lock down it will be probably line the garage and insulate it.... Rubber floor is down.

Cleaning and repainting the old hand pump and walls across from the house.

Drop the oil and see if new rebuild is metallic after first weekend. And must service the forks.

Good theme...my decorator is coming round Monday to tell me how much paint I need to do various rooms that he was going to do... if we dont get a lock in then at least the material is there for him when he's free...

Needless to say my nature isn't best suited for decorating... I've never painted before... I'll likely need to get him to sort the mess out !

Mowed the lawns, trimmed the edges then, deciding I had earned sufficient credits went out for a decent ride. Kept to the 30,40 and 50limits but stretched her legs when safe and clear roads whilst keeping a weather eye out for dash cam hobbyists. Also bearing in mind I needed to scrub in new rear Power 5. ?? When back finished trimming the edges, more credits with the war department and topped it off by making tea etc! ????????????What a creep, I hear you all cry. ?? Another ride beckons tomorrow, I?m no decorator! ??

I think I've managed to make an arse of the decorating previously to get out of doing any more of that but that doesn't stop the Mrs handing me a list of other jobs to do every time I get home.
I'm stuck here at work for another 2 weeks at least so nothing's really changed for me.

I just hope the travel ban gets lifted in 2 weeks when I'm due home or I'll either be stuck in Iraq or stuck in the UK if they send me home.

Got Almeria booked at the start of April, but there's no way that's going to go ahead by the looks of it and if I can't travel to Spain and the UK situation remains the same, I'm better staying at work until it changes!

Apart from working and home schooling daughter between my wife and I, I'll be trying to sneak some rides in whenever possible. Have to take my dog out for a decent walk at least once a day. Normally take him twice a day but may have to cut back to one a day depending on how things pan out. I bought some paint back in November so I'll crack open some tins and start painting the reception area and then the main lounge. Gym has closed down understandably so I'll be making use of my free weights and cross trainer at home now.

In addition, my Uncle runs a pharmacy and as you can appreciate they're under a lot of pressure right now having to deal with abusive and selfish people. I've offered to help with medicine drops in the evenings to the elderly and vulnerable. He said he's ok at the moment but may need my help later on.

Good for you schuey.... it?s a great feeling to help out in the community. I dropped some toilet rolls off to an elderly lady last week and she started cry when I handed her 24!
if you do the deliveries on your bike it could the the fastest perception service going!! Lol

I'll just drop this here whilst we're at it.

this is ok but dont the healthy need to be infected to build up immune systems as there not cure yet. :) if everyone stays in the virus will be around for years. I know theres no exact answer to the issue and this is why the people in charge have no idea what to do either. imo the elderly and at risk need to stay in and the rest need to catch it and fingers crossed dont have any other underlying issues.

If everybody doesn?t following the social distancing advice then there will in a very short time be more sick people needing intensive care than there are intensive care beds. When that happens many 1000s of people will die due to unavailability of treatment.

The social distancing is to keep the number of sick people below number of intensive care beds.

The UK is 14 days behind Italy. What is happening there now will be here in two weeks. If we don?t observe the social distancing (or have an enforced lockdown) by next week, then we will be hit worse than Italy where they have been locked down for several weeks already.

The elderly are at greatest risk but significant numbers of younger age groups require hospitalisation.
