Can you not buy in 4ltrs rather than 1ltr bottles?

Think last time I found a good deal on multi-buy 1lt on ebay. This was on amazon

5 or 10 is temperature rating -30c or -25c in cold starting.

I'm no expert but that's how I read it

It?s viscosity with the W being the cold viscosity. There is a temperature range that oils will work and work well, in the manual it should have this temperature and the viscosity of oils that will work within that range.

Just checked the manual and it just states 5w-40

not sure why they don?t give a normal temperature range, maybe they are trying to push ?you have to use this grade oil? or you will die a slow horrible death.

Lots of the US guys run 10/40 due to warmer climes..

10 is usually fine if you're not doing lots of cold starts.
