So, just got a 2nd hand 1jac from a Multistrada owner. Called 1jac to get the correct fitment... was asked the send all the old components back to get 20 quid off the 63.00 part that I needed. Sent it all back

New parts arrived today (no instructions), less the long slim bolt that looks like it holds the main plate at an angle.

Please can someone take a few pictures of how it all fits together and if the bolts are supposed to be set onto the bike first so that the stand then fits into that?

Thanks,

AMIT.....

Amit,
I've got one and am only down the road from you. pm me and we can arrange for you to come and have a look. It's a pain to set up to get it exactly right with both wheels lifting off the floor as you have to take it apart each time to make the slight change. However once you have eventually achieved this it's set up permanently. It's a superb piece of kit and has made manoeuvring and cleaning the bike loads easier. Also no cold spots on the tyres when I store over winter.

Thanks for the offer Rich, I will definitely come over and have a look.... I am only 15 mins from Box Hill...

What long bolt.. are you talking the threaded rod. ? Thats the part that lifts the front wheel off the deck.

No problem Stu... Yes, the threaded rod...I sent it all back as per their request.... :-(

Hopefully, one will be in the post tonight from them.... what about all the fitting... there where no instructions.... I will take a picture of what I received in the kit once I get home from work....

Thanks Rich... is there anything that you had to mount to the bike? I think I have....? Will post pictures later...

Yes, thanks..... these are the bits I have .....

However, did you have to attached any of these to the bike at all?

Would you know what this needs to be torque'd up to please?

No idea mate.. there's no Torque values anywhere on the literature.

I just used my socket set/spanner, A good nip up will be just fine, same with the facing plate and large bolt head, a firm hand tighten is just fine.
