Welcome to the forum Mike and congratulations on your new RR!

As the others have said, the semi-active damping on the RR does provide a different feel to conventional suspension.
The ride can however be changed dramatically depending on what DDC mode the bike is in (Sport, Race, Slick) and what damping settings you use.

Enjoy the forum, there is a wonderful community on here and loads of information.
I hope you have many happy miles ahead of you [emoji4]
