They're scrubbed in now :)

I set them to 30/30psi and left them there.
The front was a bit squishy for the first lap out of the pits (no warmers) but they soon come on strong.

Zero issues. Turn in is positive, braking planted. I never saw the dtc kick in (not trying hard enough clearly). The profile of the rear makes it quite hard to get to the edge, which is brilliant imo as I prefer a margin of error.

Quite positive then. Thats good. I agree the rear profile is very "round".

Errr...well thats the funny part. There was none. They tested what they wanted to before heading out. And I didn't get black flagged so must have been ok

Thats not strictly true Alex. You and I and a handful of others 'missed' the early noise testing. After the safety briefing there was no one available at the noise testing area so they checked any bikes that appeared to be loud that hadn't been tested at the holding area. Both Alex and I didn't get tested, Im not aware of any others?

Ok yes, there was testing but we didn't do it. I think the instructor labels helped.

Cadwell Park

I'm pretty certain this was a road bike only day and no tyre warmers allowed.

Ha, its an 9/10ths day. Good track time without it being too serious. I think we had 3 stoppages all day.

I learnt I am unfit. Quads are aching today.

I have weighed the stock exhaust for reference. Scales may not be perfect...
I make that 12.8kg's and Akrapovic quote 5.7 for theirs. A net 7kg loss.
MCN state the kerb weight at 211.4kg's. So that's now ~204kg. 4kg more to find to get it down to 200...as its easier to make the bike lighter than me! [emoji23]
EDIT - that makes the 2017 exhaust 2kg's heavier than the 2015/2016.

Blimey, how do you know that! Thanks again. So it's a diet after all 😬

You're posting in relation to old posts. Please quote what post you are talking about.

Where the cat is now missing there's an air gap, open area with no bodywork.

Apologies, it seems that after fitting an Akrapovic system there is a gap? Sorry I cannot say where, coz I don't get it.

Hi Alex whats the link you get all your carbon from please? Want to get the frame, swing arm and belly pan. Cheers

I sourced the belly pan; http://www.ilmberger-carbon.de/web.aspx?PageID=29&WPParams=50C9D4C6C5D2E6BDA5A98697A3 from Calsport but I saw on the box they got it through Performance Parts Ltd - Part number is VEU.356.S1R15.K you also need the fitting kit VHK.351.S1R15.K.

If you want to make a neat job of fitting it, you'll see (some pages back) I've chopped the rad shroud to make it fit the racing belly pan (I have a spare shroud to return to OEM).With that belly pan you might want to stick with Ilmberger for the other parts and not mix like I have.

You'll see the frame and swing arm covers in here; give the part numbers to your chosen vendor

If you still want Alpha like mine, as they are cheaper and they do fit very well, PrimeFactors will source them and give you a forum discount.
