Longer the can, the quieter it'll be. After that it's a conical internal perforated baffle, honeycomb end to baffle alla MotoGP, then the dreaded baffle which screws the power on my bike.

    All ready for Jerez.

Recently changed the oil. Put in 10w40 as its running on track in the warm, Castrol Power 1.

I bought a BMW Filter and a HiFlo to compare. Decided to fit the BMW part.

Nothing of note on the sump plug, those bits are frickin tiny.

Oil out was dirty but free of bits.

Taking V02's again, brand new set fitted to the HP wheels. New 3LC rear with scrubbed front on the Titax blue wheels. Taking both sets of wheels as I'm not 100% sure the discs on the HP wheels were ok (free'd the bobbins off but have no opportunity to test). Taking the spare wheels and discs for an extra £10 is far cheaper than replacement discs.
Talking of brakes, fitted the Z04's for this trip too...

Swarf looks ok on that magnetic sump plug.. I done an oil change on my 10R rears ago and there was a pretty sizeable chunck of toothed gear attached to the magnet...

Those hex heads on the oil filters are excellent for removal...

    New toy.
Sourced from FB 2nd hand. If it works its a decent saving over new to make it man maths compliant.
