    LOL. I fitted it the orientation which the OEM one came off in. ***** sake, will flip it over, now I checked the manual.

    I'd like some confirmation. Bought a Lohmann shifter second hand. I fitted it as it came, wrong way up at first till BBB corrected me. But now I looked again at the picture on the Alpha site and the picture of my install and I realise the electronic unit is upside down. The cable goes straight up on theirs but mine goes down and loops back. Also the label is facing the bike.

    So I think it was assembled badly by the previous owner. Can someone confirm @scooby maybe?

    alpha Racing / Lohmann Quickshifter

    The cable normally comes out of the top of the unit and routes upwards avoiding the front sprocket area. There is also alpha Racing or Lohmann branding on the quickshifter that faces outwards. The alpha Racing instructions are fairly good so if you follow those then you should be ok.
