Could one awesome person with a Gen2 running Akra headers and another equally awesome with a Gen3 with the same; check diameter of one pipe as close to the engine as possible.

I am hoping they are the same OD. It's just they are different part no's.

Gen 3 akrapovic headers
48 mm outside size of the Collet that fits into the engine
43 mm outside size of the pipe
I had to change my gen 2 akrapovic headers they did not fit my gen 3
hope this helps

Ok, If you change the headers could they mate up to a gen 2 end can?

The P-102 header collets for the Gen3 are available separately. I am wondering if the pipes from the gen 2 are 43mm also and thus would fit. This would mean only a ?120cost to change engines...

The end cans fit
got the headers off my bike at the minute, planning on fitting them at the weekend ,if you need any pics or anything else let me know

I have gen 2 and gen 3 headers
which seem exactly the same except for the collets that fit into the head are diff diameter
which canbe change with use of blow torch to remove
