Got a decent deal on a set of single hex Blue Point short sockets ?34.00..renewed my 1/2 drive gear with a Bahco set ?48.00, 3/8 Drive German made ratshit ?11.00 and a set of Teng combination spanners for ?22.00.
I sold all my Snap On gear when I changed jobs in 1991. There wasn't then much in the way of anything beyond Snap On, Blue Point, Britool and Hilka in those days, now theres some really decent gear out there..

The action in both the 1/2 and 3/8 ratchets feels slick and positive... quite impressed and ideal for me, a row of Snap On flank drive deep sockets 8 to 19 mil will rush you around 200 quid...

Excuse my ignorance BananaMan, just googled that. Is it a lap timer? Just wondering as I thought your bike would have one inside it already?

It looks like a solo dl to me. I have one. It's a gps laptimer and data logger. You can also get the camera to overlay data to video. Seriously good bit of kit, way better than the built in BMW stopwatch lol.

Just lap timer, didn't want datalogger. Yes bike has lap timer but is manual or you need a separate receiver on the wall which is highly frowned on

Not in the post but just went and bought new cush drive rubbers as mine are shagged in 3k miles !! 3rd set now in 12k. Apparantly you cant warranty an item that has been fixed under warranty so i had to pay for this set. Tec guy did tell me though that as i paid for these if they dont last 2 yrs he will swap them free of charge.
