Got my number plate and indicators fit to the tail tidy, I prefer it to my last one and it was only ?40 :)

I also got my cheapo adjusters on. Love 'em :)

Got a few bits done today ready for the first proper ride tomorrow, I hope it's as nice as it's been today!

I don't like the gold forks so I bought some 'brushed aluminium' look vinyl wrap and wrapped them. I'm happy with the look and it'll keep the fork legs safe from chips and marks. I'll do the tops when I have the fairing off.

I also painted both ends of the rear spindle black to fit in with the adjusters. Got a titanium nut on now so it all looks real nice, I put an old rubber glove over the nut before tightening to protect the finish :)
I also refit the original adjusters bolts as a safety measure to stop any potential shearing of the adjuster.

I forgot to take a pic of the other side.

Looking forward to tomorrow's ride now :)

I also bought a ProBolt nut for the top yoke but I'm a bit disappointed as it's a deeper nut than needed and the thread shows. I'm thinking a BMW badge might fit in there nicely.

Looks good Stephen. Very unique looking bike. I like the rubber glove idea on the nut, will do that myself in future. Enjoy the ride, weather is forecast good.

Looks really good mate. That wrap worked fine by the looks of it, I like gold forks each to their own tho. Did you refit the old adjusting blocks ?.

Great minds and all that Stephen. I was thinking along the same lines about refitting the original adjuster bolts as you've done. This was after reading various comments on Stuarts thread about the possible slippage of the axle under full power. This should be an extra safeguard against this possibility.

With your colour scheme that black wrap really works. Deffo right to go with black, as opposed to more red.

Got a TiGRA case and mount today so I can mount the phone to the bike.

I went for a cycling yolk mount as I wanted it to be off centre of the yolk. I had to use some rubber pipe to make a sort of rawl plug mount.

Really pleased with how it looks.

And the new lid matches the bike perfectly!

I'm a little annoyed with the HP rearsets / my boots, I've done less than 200 miles and the carbon heel plates have started to rub...

I'm going to wrap them in carbon to prevent any more wear, I'd really like them to stay in good condition for as long as possible.

I've just booked the ferry for a week in Germany next month so I've ordered a pair of Roadtec 01 tyres to fit before we go. Nice to have something to look forward to :)

I like that mount for your phone Stephen and the bike is looking tidy too.

The carbon heel guards only have a lacquer on them so they will scuff up, there is no fix for it. As I get older I become less concerned about maintaining that level of perfection and the blood pressure falls, slightly. You will hopefully agree in about 20 years lol.

You're probably right but I don't think they'll last 20 years at this rate!

Bike looks superb Stephen, I was scuffing my HP carbon heels guards up with my old Alpinestars boots, switched to TCX boots and problem solved!

Bike looks brilliant Stephen, really like that the red and black contrast. The heel plates just want re-laquering which will get rid of the scratches then put some clear protective film on them mate.
