I've noticed that my 2015 does not have any balance weights on the wheels (forged) - I checked when I was in the dealers as they had another two brand new RR's in stock with standard wheels and they didn't have any balance weights on either....

I don't have any balance issues so it's not a problem but I'm just curious !

I have the forged wheels, several times I have had tyres fitted and needed no balance weights.

If you have the Pirelli Supercorsa tyres, these are often well balanced and need little or no balance weight, especially if the tyre fitter made sure to place the red spot (lightest point of the tyre) next to the valve.

A good tyre fitter will chalk on the tyre that no balance weight was needed, but on a new bike you probably would not see this.

These are my experiences anyway.

Wheel Balancing

I've had plenty of tyres fitted, on both HP Forged wheels and BST wheels, that have not required wheel weights to be added when balancing. Sometimes they are required and other times they are not.
