Off through Europe down to Spain due a tyre change what's best hard in middle soft on edge to use, for the tour.

I'd recommend the m7rr tyres. longevity and grip. Alternatively the pilot road are a good mix too.
 
I went to cCannes via route Napoleon in August using Michelin pilot power 3. They done about 3000 miles and still got over 4mm left.

Another vote for PP3's. Rode to Barcelona from Caen last year and back to Bilboa, epic all round tyre.
 
Interesting thread!

I drive my car to work mostly but now and again love a blast on the rr - thing is it's a 110 mile round motorway trip.

It's only once a week but pretty much began to square off my metzlers.

i still want soft and sticky in the corners though for my weekend frolics.....

Any suggestions?
