this is what i had before my beloved k8 gsxr and my honda fmx which broke my ankle and left hand on , the fmx was just a bike to play on when the gixer went of the rd for the winter but high sided of it only 3 days later

Well I had an 06 ZZR1400, slightly tuned making a true 170 at the back wheel with 105 torques. Was a tad ballistic and I clocked up 30,000 miles on her commuting. Before that was a ZZR1200 and before that was a KTM 950 which I supermotod and was quite a laugh. The Beemer is the first bike I've had as a pure toy for a long time which is nice.

So how does the GSXR compare with the RR?

there's not much chance of u winning i spy then :'(

the gixer was really it for me its to early to start comparing them , all i can say is best toy i ever owned , luved just going out and messing about on it . messed about for 6000mls 1st yr got to know it really well , i luved that bike :'( didn,t think another bike could replace it time will tell tho [favorite messing about place clencoe and beyone]

Last machine was a KTM superduke , to be fair i loved it , great bike , tank range was wank , and the wind was a real shitter , got pissed off with stuff passing me on the straights , even though it was fast in the twisties

Original 98 R1 , absolutely fucking nuts bike , damper on full all the time , full akra system made it sound sweet

I know exactly what you mean about the Duke. A friend had one but he was too bone idle to run it in so I did the honours. Grief it was manic but at least I had time to calm down at the pumps.

Had a new 2008 Honda Hornet ABS which p/x for the Double R. Hornet covered 32k miles. Took a test ride and that was it, no need to try any other bike.

Chopped in my RSV4 to get my S1000rr, The V4 is a fantastic bike but mine was always in the dealers getting fixed and i've had enough!!
