    Portable Power 3 pin

Has anyone tried one of these kinds of things to trickle charge a bike/car?

At 230Wh on mains (basically 1 Amp @ 230v) I don't think it will last long with a mains powered battery charger even if it's only trickle charging.
If you have an indoor parking area then I reckon you'd be better off leaving a car battery where you park up and hooking up an Optimate cable straight to the bike when you park up. With both batteries connected in parallel you wouldn't see any drain on the bike battery as the car battery would more than offset any power being used for an alarm and all you would have to do is check the car battery every month to see when it need taking in to charge.

That's what I was doing before...but I also used to have a tracker. I may just go and get the battery out the bike instead.
