Just received a letter today,

"BMW have ascertained that in isolated cases the side stand of the motorcycle can work loose, should this happen and not be noticed by the rider the motorcycle may not be secure standing on the side stand alone"

I booked mine in a few days ago, to be fixed next week.
But after discovering that its flapping around on a single bolt only, I ran it in today.
To my utter delight I was given this as a loaner, what a serious POS!

I took a short video of the stand in all its wobbley glory, but can't seem to get it to link to this post

Easy to spot if you take off belly pan - mine came loose in the summer so dabbed on a bit of loctite and tightened it up!
Been no problem since so BMW will sort it at next service.

Got my letter this morning but my stand is solid as a rock but saying that
the bike has only 1k on the clock

Should of read this before I posted same topic. Gave mine a kick today it's still there.
