Any advice on what to use to clean the matt finish M forged wheels? With them being matt, there?s a risk of ruining the finish with some types of wheel cleaners or even some types of soap

To be honest I?m not a fan of the matt finish, it truly baffles me why BMW thought let?s do these in matt black.
That's what I use, WD-40 and a paper towel

My bike is painted in semi matte (satin) color so I use specific shampoo without glossing agents. So I use Nanolex shampoo and Nanolex detailer for matte finish. I am way to much skeptic with WD40. With tar or chain lube if shampoo does not cut it, I would use benzine for cleaning clothes (I think this is how is called).
Every time I clean mine I take them out, much easier on the bench. WD40 then clean cloth. Never had a problem with WD40 ever.
Wd40 for me used it on forged wheels and now clean my carbon wheels with it no issues.
