Hey guys!

I noticed some marks on one of my front fork at the top ( gold colour part ) to be honest I have no idea if these were there ( probably not ) or if it?s happened on a ride. It?s strange as it?s 3 marks out the metal and not like a bad stone chip. The bike has only covered 578 miles ( due it?s 600 service )

Options ?. Say I only noticed it and can they sort it? Any defects to be reported before the 600 miles

Pay to get it sorted, no idea if you can replace that part or it?s the entire strut!

Just leave it?. ( might annoy me lol )

I know you can get paint protection which I got , but take it you can?t protect this part ?

Any advice would be appreciated guys

You can rotate it so it?s facing the back, out of sight out of mind.

if you have access to under the yoke stand it?s a 10 min job.

Your a legend! , I don?t think my yoke stand is suitable for this bike but at least I know this is actually an option! Brilliant . Thanks mate

Stones will always damage them. Turn it around and you'll have two marked sides. Ignore it. Or wrap it.

Yep, however careful you are, things will get marked. As Forest Gump would say... 'Shit Happens"

Be thankful you don't have a GS ;)

I put clear tape on the fork legs (all over front of bike) when I go with my mates to France as we all run sticky tyres and stones are always being thrown up. It saves the fork legs but doesn?t look great after a few days as water can get behind it as the fork tubes themselves have tiny grooves machined into them on most bikes. You can but rolls of thick clear tape online. J
