I wonder if this will work better with the wireless charging head? I?ve always found the phone battery goes flat if using wireless charging on the bike

It should - wireless can't cope with 'using' the phone at the same time...at best it just reduces the drain rate.

Output: USB-A up to 18W max power

yeah 100%....as long as it doesn't kill/drain the battery as it is permanently connected when the bike is not running for a while
