Emailed Dave moss to see if I can change the oil like in his famous dump and run oil change. And he said its a cassette system with lubrication around the outside.

Always changed fork oil at about 10,000. Any one with experience on this?

Called Brook Suspension who said they can service but are not doing any services until winter! (022)

I'll explain Dave's answer a bit. The DDC fork is what's known as a 'closed cartridge system' ie the actual valving and oil used for damping is in a small pressurised canister. The oil in the fork you normally think of as the oil used for valving is there only to lube the two tubes and provide an air gap.

The only tough job is preloading the spring so you can take the cap off. You could measure the oil with the spring in and replace it to that level if you don't have the correct tools. J
