He probably could have walked away from that unhurt if he had let go of the bike, When the bike was in the air the front end came down hard about 6 inches away from his head.

Must be difficult sliding down the track knowing that if you let go its more than likely mega bucks.... bike/body, bike/body, bike/body..... choices choices

Looks to me like his lean angle was too much for his tyre and just lost his footprint.
May be should have hung off got his knee down and stood the bike up a little?

Agree, he needs to hang of the bike more keep more tyre on the track The TC can.t stop a tyre loosing grip it there is no tyre gripping the track. looks like hes gone off the side of the tread and its let go.

Exactly! Glad I'm not the only one who thought that.
As far as I could see he didnt spin up - just went off the edge of his tyre and probably why he didnt high side.
It almost looked the bike just fell from under him!
Hey ho - at least he wasnt badly hurt.
MSV track academy days are excellent and go through all that blah with you!

Perhaps someone up front with a bit more talent had been eating a banana!!
