In race mode, you'll find the traction light stays on solid and not flashing

Hmm you got me thinking.
Maybe when this was happening to me (TC Flashing) I was in sport mode.......likewise I had issues with the ABS preventing me from stopping as fast as I would like and running on into corners....this was rectified by putting it into Race mode.
Reason I remember is I thought it was my petrol light or summit..lol....I had only got the bike :)

Next track day ill check

Regards

Baz, what a great vid. You can see me with a pupil, as you go round the outside of us at Corums 8)

Really interesting to see what your gear changes are round Snett. Your holding gears longer than I do at some points. Ill give it a try next time I'm there ;D

They give you a manual for a reason lol

Manuals are for girls. :)
Have you sussed out how to get the sidelights on yet, not many people know lol.

You mean like this guy?

BMW S1000RR CRASH

I was the guy at Knockhill that Niven is talking about and TC is not a fool proof system, If you are cracking the throttle wide open at 45 degrees what happens when you do it at 44 degrees? are you carrying a protractor around with you on track?

Now that looks more like poor setup. He's got no rear grip.
Look how far the forks are raised through the clamps.
He's probably flipped the rear mount too!

Still don't like seeing bits flying off bikes though!

My point still remains, TC isn't fool proof and that video shows what can happen when it doesn't or can't save you.

No-one likes seeing that but at least he had his lights taped up :(
Tc wont save you if yr off the edge of the tyre at speed, thats loss of grip, finito....

Its probably my eyes but it looks like hes got a conti on the front and possibly a michelin rear?

That's painful seeing all the clocks and stuff get smashed off!

He probably could have walked away from that unhurt if he had let go of the bike, When the bike was in the air the front end came down hard about 6 inches away from his head.
