Hi, hope everyone had a great Christmas and new year.

I have a question.

I?m building a 2021 race bike and have herd conflicting comments on the brakes being poor or very good.
I?ll be doing a abs delete , race fluid and lines.
Is it worth changing calipers or what ?

Superstock seem to go ok...

Once you fit Z04 or DS1&2 combo's you're probably going to be fine. You'd need the GP4RX's to make any real step up.

Nothing wrong with Hayes callipers they offer very good braking performance and stopping power. Some leaked but i believe this was more common on earlier bikes. (Should have been fixed under warranty)

My first gen 4 was an early 19 plate. It did maybe 25+ track days (over the last 18 months) and had 10K miles before i sold it. The brakes never had an issue.

As Alex said, they work well enough for the Superstock lads.

Not sure if the rules allow for the MC to be changed but that is one area that is weak in my opinion.

For Superstock the calipers and master cylinder must remain as homologated.
