They will tear the tape if they want to inspect.
Just make sure you docs are in order and everything will be fine.
Also, use clear wrap not black...

Would be a right barsteward if they suspected anything....

Also have to sign to agree that if it's your fault for any transgressions you will be liable....

Long time ago when racing in Europe we put a number plate on the race car and had the registration docs with the vehicle while crossing the borders. Never had a problem.
I think organisers will have all correct docs etc.
