thanks.
Did you have someone replace the springs and set up the suspension for you?

Yes - MCT as they seemed to have more experience with the DDC. Cost me around ?200...........the pot is the expensive bit at circa ?500 including the fitting kit.

whats already done, not by me,i'd never spec a bike that highly myself, just not worth the money for the benefit, well for me at least.i dropped lucky on a sale from mate winding down his race team.

yep, don't think I'd be spending that much. You lucked out there, presuming it was a decent price

Track days I just put my go faster head on. End of the day stick my sensible head on and go home. Cheap as chips. It's not a race it's a track day :)

you mean...... no upgrades?

Correct.

If I was going racing I'd go for all the trick bits etc. For a TD why go to all that expense. If you can outride a std. Gen3 then you should be racing anyway. One concession would be the rather excellent idea of the Metzeler Racetec TD slicks that don't need tyre warmers. I run these on my 4XV R1. Key in, side stand up, off we go. https://flic.kr/p/2m99JL8 On my HP4 I just turn up and ride the thing. I don't bother taking the mirrors off. https://flic.kr/p/2mcZhWh
