Hi,

Long time no see ... I and my bike were hibernated for years, now I wanted to get back on the road, got a new battery, started fine. Today morning I wanted to go to do a tyre change and after turning the key, I notice no sound of the fuel pump, neutral gear stands up, clutch in and it won't turn, just like everything is cut out. Gauges and lights are all normal, just won't start. My theory is the kill switch related fault but .... question here:

If your kill switch is engaged, and you turn the key, do you hear the fuel pump kicking in or it kicks in after moving off the kill switch to the neutral position? I have already ordered a new switch but until it's fixed I won't sleep so finding any info getting me closer to solving the problem will be highly apreciated.

no,if kill switch is on (as in bike wont run) then fuel pump wont prime, but dash etc still comes on

Thank you, Scoby! Sounds like something I observe. I'll follow this idea.
