Just noticed today that the ignition key has been scratched/damaged by the dealer whilst they had the bike for 2 weeks to undertake warranty work,

The rubber now has indentations and small tears, must have been put somewhere with sharp edges.

Bike is only a few months old and I try and keep everything in mint condition.

Anyone else had a similar experience?

Thats not right.

Maybe they just didn?t notice the key condition? I suppose the service department is unlikely to inspect each key on arrival to ensure it leaves in the same state.

I'm terrible with my keys think we need a photo.

No, I haven't but I'm particular like yourself and despite "it's only a key" I would be very annoyed.

Dealer has kindly offered to replace the key. Fantastic service, great customer services
