    Coolant top up?

2018 gen3 5k miles. I know the ambient is warm at the moment the bike is constantly cycling between 109 and 96ish. The fan seems effective and brings it down quite quickly, but I don’t remember so much fan activation on the previous gen3. I checked the reservoir, and it’s just below/on the minimum. The coolant looks totally clear, I thought it was coloured though!
So topping up is required, though I doubt that’ll help as it’s just within limits. So questions:
    Is the std coolant clear?
Is there a dodge to get around taking the fairing off (I’m very lazy...)?
    Will anything do from Halfords?
It does run a bit rough when hot, esp when trawling through traffic, almost stalling at times. I think that’s a super lean mapping though and it clears when a bit of open road comes up.
    Any input appreciated as always!

It's an easy fairing off job. 5/6 flanged hex bolts and thats it.

BMW coolant is blue/green in colour. I would get some OEM for topping up. There can be issues mixing different types of coolant/antifreeze.

Thanks both. All sorted with a quick trip to the dealer who topped it up. It was well below the min, not had that before.
