Help Support S1000RR FORUM:
All bikes have issues. Nothing it perfect. Some are worse than others, ex-demo bikes IMO make a lot of sense to avoid the lemons.
Enjoy your search. Having just ridden the Gen3 back to back with the Gen4 on track they are very different bikes so don't assume if you like one you will like the other.
Is the Jun_Auto anything todo with JUN tuning house in Japan?

I had 3 MKIV Supra's...I know JUN... 
Hard to say which is better, they are different, both have great qualities. I'll try to own both to avoid choosing!

S1000RR?s are amazing bikes. Gen 3?s are very well sorted, on account of being the final version of the original platform.
There have been some issues with the Gen 4 bikes, but the BMW warranty is rock solid and the dealership experience is generally excellent.
