Please bare in mind I'm not overly technical minded. Just got a gen 1 s1000rr with a huge austin racing slip on but with the cat exhaust. I did also get the de cat header pipes to go straight through with the bike.. It's not loud enough now so I want to go straight but I'm baffled as to what happens with the (what I presume is similar to or is a exup valve). There's no hole or anything for it to go or fit. Any suggestions welcome or am I just an idiot. Also will it need a remap afterwards? Any help gratefully received ?

When you decat the rear exhaust servo becomes null and void, leave it plugged in (electrics) but remove the cables.

Certainly a remap of some sorts. I fitted a power commander on my gen 1, then took to be set up on rolling road. Ideally remove servo cable but I left them on and tied them out of the way.
I had the AR on mine also, still have somewhere the in-line baffles which will definitely be needed on track
