Hi all, and I hope everybody is well.

I have a question...
Can one take apart the Speed-Shifter body (the round barrel where the wire comes from) and either adjust the spring tension OR change the spring rate. I only ask as I experienced a minor lower-back injury some years ago and as a consequence my left ankle has a little less swivel strength than it should. As such, using the Speed-Shifter is not quite as intuitive as it should be. With less effort to pull the rear rod from the body it would be sweet. Any advice would be gratefully received.
In addition, has anybody here stripped one and knows what lies within the barrel, if so I'd really like to know.

Best regards and I wish you all the best for Christmas and the coming New Year..
Dale
