Removing stick on wheel balance weights

Advice please. What would you recommend to remove the stick on foam backing that gets left behind when balance weights are removed? This is on clear coat carbon fibre wheels. Ta.

bit of heat to soften,remove what you can with a plastic spatula (c/c etc) then either wd40 or furniture polish works really well,rubbing with a soft cloth

I've actually just removed 4 lots from mine on Saturday. I bought a toffee wheel from Amazon which goes in a drill and it just flys off.

plastic scraper or old credit card and tar and glue remover.

Be found tar remover works well. Done in stages it comes off cleanly.

Not sure how petrol will go on a clear coat?...could try that if pressed.
Good for cleaning the spot the new ones need to go too.
