    Service cost

    My 1000rr coming up to 4,000 miles thinking of getting it serviced how much are people paying at dealer?

    Expect around 300GBP - way too much if you ask me. Do it yourself. Easier, much cheaper and you know what has been done to your bike.

    oil + filter changes are quick easy and cheap, major (18000) valves coolant plugs and forkoil worth giving to dealer

    My annual service with mileage at 8600 was £229.31 at Bahnstormers Alton which I thought was very reasonable.
    Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast!
