S1000RR Engine sound

Hi
A friend of mine commented that my engine sounds like a diesel, I have noticed its more noisy than my R1s I've had in the past.
Are these motors meant to sound noisy or should I visit my BMW dealer?
My bike is a 2017 with 18 months BMW warranty remaining. 7200 miles I have done a 1000 miles on it so far.

I had the GoPro mounted on the mirror arm.

Engine Noise

BMW engines are noisy especially when compared to Japanese bikes.

My Gen 3 is horribly rattly engine wise compared with my R1 which is also so much smoother That doesn't mean I'm disappointed though, they are what they are.

It might be the recording quality, or my lid has better sound protection, but that does sound rattly! Having said, that my other bikes a V-twin so the S sounds quiet in comparison

Listening to it again, I agree with Katie in as much as it could be the recording quality. Definitely sounds similar to mine, doesn't mean it's not very smooth though. :calm:
