Well I finally did it and got the bike I always wanted.

completely blown away with the bike.

couple of things I want to get and change and I?m hoping you guys and your experience can help.

Welcome!

The only issues I had with my 2011:
- Left hand switchgear breaking down (started with losing the horn, then it was the lap timer starting randomly). This was fixed for free by BMW as it was common, but so many years have passed that they don't do this for free anymore. I believe you want to try and keep the switchgear out of direct sunlight.
- My steering damper needed replacing by about 12k miles.

Other than that, many happy miles and loads of track time. I hope it's the same for you, it's a cracking bike.
