I think it was used for the evap canister on(for example)US bikes.
Think it just hangs there as we don't have the above part.

Doh, sorry, it?s back on the bike... it basically looks like superglue spots to fill the holes...
There were actually 2 holes next to each other when he pressured it and dunked it in water.
Cost ?65 + vat. In and out within the hour.
Victor the owner is an ex- biker himself and has been doing this for 40+ years. He?s only ever had one rad back...
I took it to Guildford Radiators.
