Genuine Gen 2 Rear Seat Cowl Question

Help Support S1000RR FORUM:
I find the seat cowl on my Gen 2 to be fiddly to put on and off. The seat is definitely easier.

Not a problem on my Gen3, no difference between pillion pad and cowl.

hi locke what was the cost of the genuine seat cowl buddy and were did you buy from and have you a pic.cheers tricky
?190 from local dealer! :eek-new: Part number for cowl (stool cover) painted in your colour is 71607723330 plus you need 2 clamps 46637694548 and 2 screws 46637657650 Just swap over bracket and lock unless you change from seat to cowl on a regular basis.
I will get some pics for you. Yes its way overpriced but i don`t do copies. Yamaha are not any cheaper for their cowls.

cheers for that locke yes price is steep but when you have got to have it you have to buy it lol.locke had my bike dyno done the other day and when on dyno the back wheel locked up ,last owner must of not left any free play in the back brake master cylinder thing ,but its warped the bluddy disc so i also have been on the spend again for brembo disc and brembo brake pads .:sour:
I`d rather it done that on the dyno than on the road or track! I`ll post some pics of the cowl tomorrow mate.

congrats sorting how to put the on here ,your not the only one .looks nice but i reckon it would looks loads nicer on mine :adoration:
