its because marquez isnt fully repaired yet, dorna thinks he needs another week or so.lol
They are waiting until Marquez is fully fit.
It's just the start, many sporting events being cancelled. Makes you wonder about euro days.....
It will ruin the start of the season. Was looking forward to honda and mark Marquez struggling!

I read that Moto 2&3 still going ahead as riders already there?
Correct, whereas Thailand is a total loss.
Basically 1/3 of the paddock comes from Italy and if they went ahead every Italian would be barred.
Morbidelli, Rossi, LCR, Yamaha Europe, Ducati etc its actually to save them from being punished that they cancelled.
F1 has the same issue, Ferarri, Alpha Tauri are based there and Alfa Romeo have Ferrari engines/staff...
And then there's Pirelli!!
