I found this doc on the AiM website:

It recommends leaving the standard cluster in there as you said scooby. Not sure if this is relevant to the newer dashes, but extra info is always useful. It seems to cover a good set of the sensors and such tho.

yea i've actually spoken to Aim about it in the past they even sent me a wiring diagram+instructions on the wiring for me gen2 biike when i fitted my mxl2,it's a reccomendation as some of the parameters on the dash you lose,not really an issue regarding a track bike,but could be on a road bike,deffo harder on the gen3,as for gen 4 suspect same until (if) they release aP+P set up,which i doubt they will tbh.
