Re: Winter Workshop

Any recommendations for a small cable stabilizer bar or whatever for these lines...

Re: Winter Workshop

Here's a pic off a pushbike but same principle. The clear pipe can be cut to any length to give different standoff's.

Thanks for that... so you then fasten up the cable tie... still not sure what the plastic pipe piece does then...which is likely a stupid question...

Re: Winter Workshop

It goes between hose 1 and 2 to keep them apart, whilst holding the loop around both.

Re: Winter Workshop

So you then wrap the tie wrap around the fork leg and fasten the tie wrap.

The clear tubing acts as a stand off keeping the brakeline from rubbing on the forkleg. Different lengths of tubing allows for better clearance.

I?d take a picture of my own bikes but there in a different part of the country.

Re: Winter Workshop

Thought it a good idea while I'm bored out my tits to whip off the tank and replace the fuel filter which I didn't know existed, for some bizarre reason Kawa don't list one hence it never entered my head, despite scrutinizing each microfiche plate to see what I can squander more money on it was never on the radar.

Soooo the story goes the Suzuki equiv one is widely used in Gen 1s.. that turns out to be 70 quid !.. for what...a Tea Bag !... anyhow got an aftermarket for 17 quid heading my way and the O ring seal from cradely..

I often wonder how some prices for parts are arrived at.
