I have now tested the new s1000rr and its great. My question is the value of my bike for an exchange. I was planning early summer next year which will make my bike around 18 months old . The problem is i think my bike will sit from October this year until April in the garage depreciating when I could just sell end of this season and it will be a year old in October. Then buy the new bike for early in the new year and given the current delays it would be about the right time. Anybody any thoughts or should i sell privately? I have paid max deposit and over payments on my gen 3 so i should be in plus. And given not many gen4 will be available i would get a higher return on mine.
