S1000RR Gen 4 Delivery Thread

My dealer told me today that there was a dealer putting in false orders.... bmw have found out about these orders and have cancelled them and allocated them out to dealer network. North oxford bmw have all colours available. Cotswold have one m sport available in showroom at present

I spoke to my dealer on tues my sport now due week 9,

That’s last week of feb then.... just so everyone knows dealers will be pushing for fast deliveries to achieve quarter one results which is by end of March

Spoke to dealers yesterday, my bike has arrived with them. They plan to do the standard PDI and safety checks Mon/Tue and then I’ll go and collect next Friday all being well ????????????

Well, it finally happened!! Collected my brand new Gen 4 S1000RR Sport with PP yesterday and I absolutely love it already. The weather was nice and bright although very cold, heated grips came into use straight away. Had a good ride up on my Get 3, said good-bye to it and enjoyed the ride back home on the Gen 4. Loving the TFT screen and the new bike features, lots to learn. First time I've seen a Racing Red Gen 4 in the flesh and I'm very happy with my choice. I do like the satin finish on the ///M forged wheels, they come with the fatter 200 width rear tyres, Metzeler rubber as with the M Sport

Riding back from dealers was a decent ride, covered 65 miles yesterday and done a further 20 miles today on a quick ride out. Can't wait to put more miles on and then get run in service done. Already got plans for some mods, some carbon additions and Akra slip on. My birthday's in March so will treat myself!

Finally took delivery of my new RR 2019 (Racing Red) replacing my 2018 one, thats my third RR, I have been fortunate enough to try a variety bikes and without doubt RR is my favourite..... so looking forward to getting on it the 2019 model. Waiting for the PP to be done before she sees the road, as the last time i went out before PP on my Duke a day before it was due I chipped the nose, so will just so some patiences this time, anyway too much salt been dropped this weekend.

I ordered mine 1st week in December and was meant to arrive week 9 but is looking more like week 11 now

i rang my dealer yesterday and apparently my bike is now in production, anyone know roughly how long until its delivered from production?

Well according to the gen 3 manufacturing video it only takes two hours from start to finish.... lol
but in all seriousness I have no idea.... but would say it’s only a matter of time and prob due end of month ready for new plate
