If I replace headers with Akra and run Rapidbike, do I want to block off OEM O2 sensors or just leave connectors unplugged ?

Year of bike?

2016, have 2 narrow band o2 sensors in OEM headers now.

I assume, unless I run my tunning kit, I want to have a closed loop exhaust, right? Meaning I want to block off OEM sensors so that ECU doesn't do any adjustments to AFR.

O2 Sensors

If I remember correctly when you disconnect the O2 sensors the bike will log a fault code in the ECU. It does not affect the dash and the engine light does not illuminate. Your BMW dealership can?t disable the O2 sensors via ISTA/P, so the fault code will be reoccurring. You can only disable the O2 sensors via the RCK3, or by using the FSC unlock code for the HP Race Power Kit.
