Re: What have you bought for the gen4?

Also bought a screen protector kit. Not sure it's even required but for a tenner I thought it might be worth it.
Next bit's I'll be buying, in order:

- Carbon frame and swingarm protectors
- Taller screen
- Titanium headers as soon as I can buy them through BMW
- Carbon fender, hugger, chain guard
- Other carbon shiny bits

Re: What have you bought for the gen4?

I wonder if anyone will bring out an extended belly pan for when the cats removed.

I hate the look of the short belly pan when you can see the link pipe on display.

There will undoubtedly be a race spec pan that will need to be full length for regulations, ??? no doubt.

Stuff is pricey as hell! 450 Euro for the M levers, 50 Euro for the paddock stand spools, surprisingly only 60 Euro for the radguard..

Did you get a full list off the dealer? €450 for levers?

No, I only asked about the stuff I wanted. I'll send them an email and post the list here if they hand it out to me.
Yep, 450 Euro for the levers............

Re: What have you bought for the gen4?

Bmw ‘tax’ lol.

one thing to bear in mind, that although they are expensive you get a lot of it back if you later resell because they are quality parts (at least they used to be).

Also premier members will be able to get parts discount with either Lind or AJ (but check with them first).

Re: What have you bought for the gen4?

Looks like the parts are still made by Gilles.

If you order BMW accessories with a new bike, do the dealers fit them for you?

Re: What have you bought for the gen4?

My Honda dealer always did it for free.

Well obviously it depends on complexity of work. Full Akra would probably require 3-4hrs work and Im pretty sure dealer would want to charge for that.
