Fitted these today and very pleased. Could not make my mind up with the frame bobbins so bought street and race set just in case.

Due to lockdown drinking I seem to have completed online shopping.

There's nothing left. I'm stuck to just occasional Ti bolt order

Re: What have you bought for the gen4?

Atomic element 45 rhodium if I remember from my approved school teachings.

I manage my company?s Platinum group catalyst metals and the cost of Rhodium?s currently stratospheric - so dig deep in to those pockets!

Is that why the converters are being robbed from the car exhaust systems at lightning speeds?

Yeah no doubt it is. It?s well over 10 times the price of gold at the moment. Good reason to bin off that awful K67 cat and fit a full system - which is something I?ve yet to do.

I?ve got an hp4 original cat in the garage boxed up. Are there specialist places that buy this sort of thing for decent money to recycle?

Yes I expect there will be Soof, worth a check of local scrap dealers to see which ones can get the metal in to the refining chain where it?s value can be recovered.

The reputable ones from whom you?ll get the best value would want some form of purchasing proof. The ones I deal with are industrial groups that don?t do private works (Johnson Matthey an example), but I can ask them who might so let me know how you get on.

Re: What have you bought for the gen4?

Piddocks have supplied and fitted my Stainless Akro full system for a total cost of ?1880 which I think is a fair and reasonable price. They did the recalls on the wiring harness, brake calliper and are doing the clutch neutral fix and the annual service while its there. I am really pleased with the guys cause they kept me informed every step of the way. They didn?t even take the pee too much after they had to replace the clutch cable because I might of damaged it when fitting my Puig clutch lever.

Re: Gen 4 Parts

I've given upon the BMW data logger. So when I saw this laptimer in conjunction with the switches it was a no brainer. If only I'd discovered them before getting replacement switch gear from my off at Snetterton. Also replacement rearsets, so now have a few spares.

The PZ can be finicky. Make sure it's got clear view of satellites. Even your body can get in the way.
I remember Baz ended up with his mounted on the tail as it would never closer to the yoke.

Yeah im aware of this. Im going to mount it at the front to start but they do an extension cable if i mount it at the back. I have a starlane corsaro pro that isn't 100%. (Now for sale). To be fare, ive had a few different brands and they all have had their moments
