Afternoon all.

My lovely NRC tail tidy has LED lights set in Perspex blocks like this...

So far so good...Until they stopped working. NRC are from sunny USA and are bemused at me riding in all weathers, and have been very good about sending me replacement numberplate light and indicator light replacement.

This pic shows the back of one failed indicator

Up-sum. Water is obviously getting in the hole. Can anyone suggest some kind of sealant or flexible resin to seal up the back.

On the subject of ?gunk?, no Baron Von Grumble-esque spaffing suggestions please.

Gel sealant or waterproof putty stops water ingress...sparks use it for outside lights/junction boxes etc.

Might seem like overkill but you can pick up a small kit for about 13 quid .. rated IP 68 which is as good as it gets...Toolstation sells a 300 mil kit with no shelf life...

You could use the rest to pour into your Mrs mouth when she starts on you !...
