Gen 1 lamp fail fix please

This is on my new Gen 1 track bike the lamp fail warning is on all the time so no temp guage display. Now on my old gen1 track bike the temp guage is displayed not the lamp warning and I can't remember how I did this all those years ago or weather in fact it was never a problem. Any help would be appreciated.

put it in slick mode should clear it

Update. First a big thanks to Mike g just tried this on my old bike and he is correct. The new bike however doesn't play ball the warning won't go out clearly an issue with the bike. The previous owner who had it 6 years said it was on when he got it
