Hi, has anyone got the time it would take to change the fork seals on a road going bike?
iv put the bike into a garage and they are saying four hours?

took me an hour 1st time, then 30 mins after that, actually did it 4 times in a day once (was on track in spain, seal went so was trying all different ones to try fix it,4th time was a charm!!).
theres more time in stripping forks out than the actual seal replacement,if you could remove forks would be a hell of a lot cheaper

I spoke to bmw about the cost and they said it’s listed as a 1.5 hour job but the garage that is local is trying to charge me 4 hours, now I didn’t know if bmw have made a mistake or I’m being overcharged??

What would be a realistic time to do the job with road panels still on the bike?
